Chemonics International seeks the following long-term professionals for a 3 to 5 years assignment based in Bangkok: Knowledge Management and Communications Specialist Responsibilities: * Contribute to and maintain information management systems * Website development and maintenance * Establish database systems as necessary * Produce and disseminate reports * Provide content for website and all external communications * Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders and counterparts * Provide technical support as needed Qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of experience in information management and external communications * Experience and background in website development required * Background in media relations, news publications, website development, research, and report writing required * Advanced degree in relevant field required * Experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred * Strong communications and interpersonal skills * Marine and ecosystem background preferred * Spoken and written fluency in English required * Proficiency languages spoken in any of the following countries desirable: Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste * Travel may be required Please send resumes and cover letters to bangkokrecruit@chemonics.com by July 8, 2008.
